You can describe any (round, square, whatevs, just no holes in the middle, ie, simply connected) pizza as being homeomorphic to the unit disc. So if you pick any two points A and B on the boundary of the pizza and cut two segments from these points to a point C in the interior of the pizza, then you’ve got a slice of pizza homeomorphic to the standard slice of pizza you see on the commercials. So, “shape” really doesn’t count here, they all boil down to being homeomorphic.
