I mean we can't really blame AJ...he probably thought Terry would support the double birds.

I'm thinking he probably would have if it was directed at non-Iowa fans. LOL. I loved watching TNT wrestle back in the day...wrestled like high octane, nitrous oxide-fueled, angry, crazed, heat-seeking missles!! Sure wish they could instill that same level of intensity into our current team!! And for the love of God I pray the product we put on the floor this year is much improved over the past couple years. With Mikey and Drake - especially Mikey - gone we really need someone to set the bar high. Hopefully a healthy BK and a hungry DeLuca and Crookham will bring some energy to go along with Gabe wrestling at his desired weight. Would love to see Gabe and AF show the offense we all know they're capable of bringing against all but the very best. And of course Bailey and JW are capable of birnging it as well. Ok I know I'm rambing but I'm fricking excited about us putting a team on the floor each week that inspires the crowd and shows the wrestling world that Iowa is still in the discussion...even if that discussion is the battle for 3rd. Flo has us 4th in the preason with 4-6 separated by only 4.5 points. Looks like PSU, Okie State and Nebraska are going to be hard to beat...though I think we can take Nebraska if our boys wrestle like they belong on the team.

For sure, both the eye gouge and ball grab happened after the Cuban got taken down and the action was done, especially the ball grab. Just sitting there waiting for the ref to bring them back to the middle and he gave Terry the old reach around. Terry actually did a pretty good job of controlling himself after that crap. He completely gassed that dude for the entire last half of that match. I think he was hoping Terry would take injury time to give himself a lunger honestly!
