My daughter who, despite my best efforts, barely follows football, let alone Rutgers, just texted: "BuffaNova, all over again?"

Hard to believe this was an 0-12 team against a team that a lot had as a sleeper

I'll actually be in NJ homecoming weekend. This makes my decision easier. I'd rather be on a flight heading home during the game.
Schiano hasn’t adjusted one damn thing in 20 years, even after it stopped working 15 years ago. He’s the definition of a dinosaur.

UMass already scored more against us in the first half than they did against their first 2 FBS opponents last year combined. If they score again here it’ll be first 3 or 4 teams combined.
The 4-2-5 defense is also an absolute trash defensive scheme. Constantly outnumbered in the box.
I’m pretty sure this is the worst defense I’ve ever seen from a Rutgers team. Even the Ash team that let Michigan score 78.

Who? When people said they were losses we were told that they were passed over in the depth chart. Only to find out one is a captain at Tech and the other is being mentioned as a draft lock at Texas. Crazy how the narrative has changed in the 1st quarter of the first game playing against the worst team in college football.
I’m almost embarrassed that I was excited for this game. My son just graduated this year and we were excited to be watching the opening game together again.
