I don't understand this response at all. The run game has to improve but this comment was simply we're not going to see Martin start in the near future

This team has such a different look and feel compared to last year. OC and DC actually have a clue on how to call games and players are executing especially the WR. How the heck Howard never saw the field under Franklin is a disgrace. BGJ was more interested in Chad Powers and Keegan Michael Key and Hollywood

One thought: The tackling on defense is better than ANY SINGLE TEAM Franklin ever put on the field including 2023 under Manny. The tackling reminds me of that 2005 team. They don't miss. This Del Rio Wilson is absolutely the real deal and they got him down with one man every time.

Score may have been similar at halftime as last year’s opener, but that was a top five team playing against a three win Nevada team. You would think he could have seen the field earlier last year. And suspiciously it isn't until BGJ gets canned that he does.

Hansen and Peoples essentially the same back, Peoples needs to change cleat
testing Marshall's middle.
WR's best in 5 years
Iowa St. transfers good as expected
Expecting Q to run in 2nd half along with Manske.
Need tighter coverage on T- end Payne.

I would like to see Mouser use the tight ends a little more in those third-and-medium situations. Rappleyea has not been utilized and I thought he could have been targeted on at least a couple of routes he ran.

I think they're saving the heavy TE look for later in the season. I remember MC using 5 TE's when he was at ISU.

I think they were in zone for both of those catches as it looked like the blitzer was from the Titans end side of the formation and the quarterback made a good read

I realize that Marshall’s defense isn’t great and they’re selling out on the run, but it’s nice to see receivers who actually can catch the ball as well as a route concept that gets people open. It’s nice to not have to rely on Alan getting the ball down the field 8 yards at a time or Singleton hitting a home run.

Nope, I agree with this one….i wanted to see more over the middle and slant routes for the past few years.
