walking in a boot, as wellWhat about Phillips? Looked pretty serious in real time and didn't play a snap after.

Kirk said they'll know more about LJ Phillips' health in the next couple days.
Good that he was at least walking. Should mean nothing broken.
I think in the second half NIU made a real effort to close up those gaps by sending help, and we passed more. Plus we were missing most of our interior OL. We were playing third string OL ln the 4Q. Both Williams and McNeal played pretty well last season, so i'm not putting a lot on this game adding in all of that.Betting Phillips won't be back until at least Michigan. Absolutely kills the 1-2 punch we wanted to have with him and Moulton. McNeil and Williams looked not good.
those injuries are not good, but therapy is better nowHigh ankle sprain is the preliminary diagnosis. He is very upset, but is hopeful he’ll be back quickly.
He sure did… he needs more playing time he’s got some serious speed and great cutbacks…I thought Jackson looked incredibly quick and fast. I think X Williams is very good as well.
yeah that called back TD run made me sit up and wonder who the heck is this #22. if the TD had held up it would've been just as impressive as moulton's long scoreI think McNeil immediately moves down the depth chart, with #22 moving up to RB2. His called-back TD run was very impressive.
I keep waiting to see all the hype around McNeil come to fruition.I think McNeil immediately moves down the depth chart, with #22 moving up to RB2. His called-back TD run was very impressive.
Dances in the hole too much, doesn’t have great speed. May work in HS doesn’t translate to BIG level Of football.I keep waiting to see all the hype around McNeil come to fruition.
Reminded me of a younger version of Bills/Seahawks legend Fred Jackson. Same number even!I think McNeil immediately moves down the depth chart, with #22 moving up to RB2. His called-back TD run was very impressive.
isn’t he Fred Jackson’s son?Reminded me of a younger version of Bills/Seahawks legend Fred Jackson. Same number even!
It isn’t official yet, just preliminary. We will know more in the next day or two.do not high ankle sprians take a month or even two months to heal? I'm no doctor, but I thought those are fairly severe/lingering injuries.
somebody needs to step up big-timein the running back room.
McNeil and X. Williams appear to need huge holes to get yards. Moulton runs hard, has the Akrum Wadley wiggle, and now some break-away speed??I keep waiting to see all the hype around McNeil come to fruition.
isn’t he Fred Jackson’s son?
It helps. The two big runs that Moultan had , you could have driven an 18 wheeler through the hole at the line of scrimmage.McNeil and X. Williams appear to need huge holes to get yards. Moulton runs hard, has the Akrum Wadley wiggle, and now some break-away speed??
Stay healthy, bro.
That's a shame for Phillips. Hope he's back ASAP. He'll be a good one. Just needs more reps. Excellent complement to Moulton. Thanks for the update. Kid has real upside.
Moulton is no Akrum Wadley, but he's a good one. Wadley is one of the best RBs ever to wear the black and gold. Man, I loved watching that kid play. That he never made it in the NFL will always be one of the great mysteries. But I'll never forget his fantastic performances for the Hawkeyes.McNeil and X. Wadley would have been broken in half in the NFL.Moulton is no Akrum Wadley, but he's a good one. Wadley is one of the best RBs ever to wear the black and gold. Man, I loved watching that kid play. High ankle sprains seem very unpredictable. I think it depends on the severity.I see Jeremiah love is back for the cardinals, 4 weeks after a high ankle sprain. Here’s to Phillips recovering just as quickly.
To Me Betts was a very underappreciated RB , What He was able to do behind some of the youngest and most unprepared OLs in Iowa history was phenomenal , Nelson and Steinbach and later Gallery from the 1999 Team were thrown right into the furnace as true FreshmanMoulton is no Akrum Wadley, but he's a good one. So if Hank starts which I assume he will and we are in a rhythm with him does he stay in or we doing similar to last Saturday? I would like to see Hank get the 1st half and see where we are at score wise.LJ Phillips is out....
The Offensive Linemen are all back....

Agree. If he's rolling and so is the team, let's wait until UNI to give a heck about giving another QB some reps. Unless the game is comfortably in hand.So if Hank starts which I assume he will and we are in a rhythm with him does he stay in or we doing similar to last Saturday?
