Several thoughts voiced elsewhere, such as WMU should have just gotten a PI to prevent the ball getting as far as it did on the previous play, shouldn't have gotten too cute earlier, etc.
What MAY we start seeing if scenarios continue? How about the defending team just leave the field and say, "The game is over. Take it to court if you disagree".
Another question I saw: why was there no PAT attempt? By rule, if the outcome of the game can be affected by a PAT try, the PAT try must take place. Face it, if any team could screw that up by giving up a 2-point PAT return, it's Michigan.
