How lucky did we get with the early bye?

I was really not thrilled we had an early bye… until last night’s carnage.

How many injuries? Carcillo, Eligon, multiple pregame injuries on defense.

Also, how ****** was our new punter? They need an open competition during the off week.

Totally agree. Idk any of their injury statuses (stati?), but we are woefully thin in the areas hurt.

Worried about Carsello. I've heard second-hand that it's a concussion, which could have long term effects for him.

Yes, although the prospect of trying to survive 11 straight weeks of injuries after the bye is… daunting.

NU administration did us no favors asking for the Week 2 bye.

As it turns out, luckier than i thought originally. With all the kinks we have to work out and the injuries...

Normally, far from an ideal situation, but if you're going to have a bye this early, mind as well do it when players are still getting used to a new scheme (on top of hopefully getting some injured players back).

Maybe with a new offense it’s better to have an early bye. At least this was a real game action test so they can identify what they need to work on as well as get some guys healthy.
