I just turned it on. Seemed like we controlled the first half until the last 3 mins sadly
I've just turned it on and Cal is generating chances left and right
I’ve been watching the last 30 mins. Same old same old, the team getting out possessed and out chanced by an inferior opponent (cal was picked 13th in the preseason acc poll) I am SO tired of Carlos. He poaches outstanding players from the best teams in the country and somehow can’t form an XI that can simply possess the ball. I will continue to say he is robbing the university and I cannot believe we extended him.
Was their football stadium many years ago. Now just track and soccer.
fans are only allowed on the shaded side where the cameras shoot from so it always looks empty, but fan support is actually decent.
The frustrating thing about this game (and others) is we dominated for 40 min, then got dominated for the next 40. It is like a flip switched when Cal put in their reserves.

It comes down to building depth and recruiting. I do not know how or what type of recruiting coach Carlos and his staff are. It does not make sense to me.
Recruiting for men's soccer is really hard to assess because so much of it is developmental club players from around the world. and so much turnover each season. With that said, UNC pretty consistently has high recruiting class rankings.

Decent performance. I thought we were better and should’ve won. Draws run in Carlos’ blood lol
I agree. At least we did not lose. To tie the number 1 team in the nation should help our players confidence wise moving forward.
