I haven't seen much of Brother Rice yet this year -- just some highlights from the LWE game. They look big and fast.

Does LA have a chance? They still haven't had their first signature win under the lights... could this be it?

And for those living in Wilmette area, how is Debbie holding out given consecutive visits from South Side teams?

This is tough. Yes they lost to LWE but this game changed dramatically when McGee came out of the game in the 3rd Q. He can cause havoc when playing like he did last year vs LA. BR needs to stop playing musical QBs. If the freshman is the answer, use him.

BR's LBs are avg and their DBs are OK. LA may have some success throwing if they can prepare for McGee's rush better.

This really is a tough one. Rices WRs are decent at best. TE is a big target. Their RB is good but LA front 7 in their strength.....Is Fowler playing for LA? What was his injury??

Long Friday bus ride, I'll give LA the home field advantage and win 28-21 and I wouldn't bet on that

Hoping someone closer to the program than I will have details on this. I have read "major shoulder injury" in a couple places but haven't seen anything coming from of the program.

Watched last year's BR/LA game online. I don't think I can recall a Loyola Oline dominated to the extent they were last year. They simply could not block Rice's Dline. The two best Dlinemen for Rice (McGee and Parks) are back. If LA can figure out a way to at least neutralize the Rice Dline, they have a good shot. I'm guessing Holecek will find a way and the Ramblers win this one. It will also help that all of LA's D1 skill guys are a year older. This is the GOTW in my opinion.

Rice dominated Loyola last year, one of the games I seen in person. Loyola returns majority of those guys I think and the QB did get hurt during that game. Rice defensive line can cause havoc and will need to. Back 7 for Rice are question marks. But I think the freshman QB puts the state on notice if he hasn’t already with a statement win for the Crusaders. Long ride there, short ride back

I’ll trust you on the LB’s but that D line gives them a lot of freedom.
