I got another email solicitation for PSU game tix. I don't need tix but clicked the link to see what's left. Mostly upper deck, visitor side. My guess(?) Is around 2k tickets left but I suck at counting seats

They appear to be really trying to keep stuff out of visitor hands or the secondary market. Im surprised it's not sold out yet, being the first game and a name opponent.

The fact that it’s not sold out is embarrassing. Reminder that a palace doesn’t make a program. We need relevance and quickly or this new stadium will be a laughing stock

I saw an interview with Pat Ryan Jr where he stated that 20% of the tickets (7000) to the Penn Stare game were held back and were just released for sale to the general public along with single tickets to the other games. My guess is they were giving alumni and previous season ticket holders the first opportunity and will put the remaining seats on sale starting this weekend. Expect them to get snatched and the game will be a sellout.

That’s good. It better be every game for the inaugural season. There’s no excuse if not.

You realize that yesterday was the first day single game tickets could be sold? They probably sold >20,000 season tickets. I will wager that 10/2 will be the first sell-out for NRF.

I'm sharing season tx so I won't be at PSU, but I am thinking BSU will have empty seats. Also RU.

Iowa and ILL will be ok, but some wrong color fans
BSU will be homecoming, so they have a good chance of selling out that game. Rutgers is family weekend, so they may sell a bit more than normal for that game.

Both true. I've never really paid attention to the Homecoming factor in my 40+ years but others do.

Also they are really trying to restrict supply to create a pent up demand. Perhaps they will be successful

The real test will be next year, when the first game is against...Holy Cross. We didnt fill the lakefront for SDSU and they actually brought some fans.

STH generally skip low level non-conference games. With students not in classes, I would expect a lot of empty seats to Holly Cross. I would not worry about that game, but it will be important to have a lot of sth next year.

There are a lot of high priced seats there, A good portion of the top 10 rows of the most expensive GA seats in the stadium, It also shows basically none of the end zone upper deck (cheapest seats) avail,. Got to wonder if the have been actually sold of off loaded to brokers

But what is interesting is which tickets they are, Couple hundred in each of the prime top sideline GA tickets. (all seem to be rows 10-23). Those are in areas that they were likely thinking that they would be being bought as STs. Hard to imagine that they wanted to hold those tickets out. Tickets that you would generally think would be the tickets for sale (corner and end zone) are not listed
