Because it's probably fake news. How did these guys get a scoop before the other sites which cover PSU full-time.
Fake news ... He went out 1 series banged up but came back the next series just fine. Played a lot more snaps than he was scheduled and was interviewed after the game spoke nothing of any injury
Nothing confirmed, but the rumor elsewhere is that at a very recent practice this week he may have had a serious injury. If true, it does present a huge challenge for this season. While we have better depth than we thought at the position, he’s the most elite athlete with the highest upside at that position.
They said it was in practice and he had the MRI today. Zack Seyko also mentioned it and said we’re awaiting news.

My gut tells me this is valid. Really sucks as we need him and it is awful for him with his second consecutive year with a serious knee injury. On the bright side, the defense won't totally collapse like it did last year when Rojas went down.
It was discussed yesterday (Thursday) and today in the Lions Den. PSU has made no official comment about the situation, so a lot of the discussion is speculation, though a few people have contributed some info from sources. The BWI guys are aware of it, and have commented a bit on it, but hae been careful to indicate that so far even their sources are cautious, as they are awaiting additional tests.

The money in football, both at the pro and college level, has reached a point where every piece of news surrounding injuries and contracts is held at security levels close to that of the government top secret levels.

Really stinks for the young man! He was going to develop into a game wrecker. This is the one injury the defense did not want to happen.Confirmed. Out for the year.
