I don't know what Ryan Day was thinking at that point. USC completed a pass to the OSU 1 yd line with 1:23 remaining. WHY DIDN'T OSU JUST LET USC SCORE? What were the chances that OSU's gassed defense was going to be able to stop USC on 4 consecutive runs from the 1 yd line? OSU would have got the ball back with 1:23 and 2 TOs. That would be all the time in the world to get into FG range for a winning kick.

I think his pocket presence is above average and his composure/accuracy under pressure is what you see from most future first round picks while they're in college
This goes to people don't have realistic expectations of college QBs
Watch the dropped TD throw he made in the first half under pressure.
Many here aren't giving the Ohio State secondary the credit they deserve--no matter how good the QB is they can't make throws that don't exist
Arch wasn't perfect--very rarely is any QB--but watching him you should all be able to see what he can become

I was rooting for Ohio State, but I win no matter who loses. I like them back in the Archie Griffin days. I also disliked Texas way back then because of the Richard Nixon nonsense.

That said I now dislike OSU but still a bias against the south. So in the game like this, I can't lose. 😎
