According to the screwball, the Pitt 12-7 win over UCF was "big time game win".

That was UCF’s tenth consecutive road loss, so I guess that qualifies as big time in some way.According to the screwball, the Pitt 12-7 win over UCF was "big time game win".

UCF won their first game 73-6. In the mind of Duzz that means they must have been very good. The win was against FCS Bethune Cookman, but still.....According to the screwball, the Pitt 12-7 win over UCF was "big time game win".

If we're being fair, 99% of college games aren't going to have good attendance with that kind of weatherThe pitters have tarped off about half the stadium in an attempt to avoid embarrassment. Based on yesterday's attendance they should tarp off the other half.
I think that Pitt is legitimately a very good team this season. However, their multiple Heisman Trophy winning qb, whom an unnamed Pittsburgh media dope (Joe Starkey) was intimating was better than a current Steelers qb based on his performance last week against a MAC school, played terribly and looked like he never threw a football in rain.UCF won their first game 73-6. Also, his team had to overcome the horror of having the game delayed. That showed character.
Pitt still managed to take the field and win by five against a point spread of seven. Duzz coached them up good. Big time indeed.
I call that weather Pittsburgh Sunshine. Since the beginning of August, which traditionally is the dry time in good ole WPA, we’ve already had about 12 inches of rain, and we haven’t even had the remnants of any tropical storms. What’s funny is that as soon as we have four or five dry days in a row, if that ever happens, the weather people will tell us that we’re in a drought and have to conserve water. If we're being fair, 99% of college games aren't going to have good attendance with that kind of weather
Agreed. You can razz the Pitters for lots of things but when P4 teams are underperforming or sputtering against perceived subpar competition (Oregon, Michigan vs WMU, Wash vs a Utah State team that gave up 39 at home to Idaho State to name a few), I'd pat them on the back for beating a Big 12 team in a slog. If you can win a game when you're not at your best, you're still doing something right.

Agree 100%, but then I also feel pretty good about PSU being 2-0 despite being on UPSET ALERT both weeks. From what I've read, I shouldn't be happy. <insert sarcasm emoji>You can razz the Pitters for lots of things but when P4 teams are underperforming or sputtering against perceived subpar competition (Oregon, Michigan vs WMU, Wash vs a Utah State team that gave up 39 at home to Idaho State to name a few), I'd pat them on the back for beating a Big 12 team in a slog.
