New coaching staff and a bunch of new players (largely tranfers from ISU) learning to play with the returning PSU players. And there's no substitute for actual game reps. They will continue to improve. I am optimistic.

These are exhibition games, everyone needs to relax. This would include the fans after last week’s game that were encouraged, and the fans after today’s game that think the sky is falling. This includes the Franklin fans rooting for failure and the Franklin detractors hoping that Campbell is the long term answer. Wait until after the first three Big Ten games before blowing a gasket one way or the other.
