It’s early in the season, but both sides look lackluster. I’m not sure how much Greenard will help with the pass rush based on what we are seeing against an average Skins OL.

The offense just looks lost across the board. I’m starting to think an OL reboot is needed.
I also thought the OL had a rough game. Barkley rarely had anywhere to run. I also thought the play-calling was questionable at times. When it's 2nd and 10-12, you don't run sideways plays. Overall, to me, Hurts had a pretty decent game. His running was HUGE!

I still don’t understand how a ball that hits the ground can be legally caught
You could see the WR had total control of that ball, and the ground was no factor. And when he rolled over, that ball never moved. Sorry sluggo.

What’s Matt O Canada doing these days?

Dickerson and Jurgens really struggled. They can get better, but it’s time to wonder about Landon.

Lane will likely retire after this season. And Steen has been ok, but not great.

The OL may look drastically different a year from now and I’m ok with that on the interior. It’s not working.

The offense better figure out how to beat cover 4 defense. They are going to see it every week until they do. Running wide is not the answer yet they kept trying to run wide and SB was always being hit in the backfield and the LBs were firing through all the gaps in the oline. Not this oline's strength. They need to fire out straight not stretch plays to the sidelines

I know the rule n the play, otoh ball hits the ground it’s usually blown dead.

I doubt LD retires after this yr. Will get n extension. OL will look different by yrs end w their play. SB gets hit in the backfield going back to his PSU days

When hadn’t SB been hit in the backfield?

It's tough watching this offensive line. Not the dominant unit they used to be. Perhaps their inconsistent play can be improved if the OC can truly adjust to what defenses will want to do to them, but it's also tough not having a hall of famer OL coach with them anymore.

As much as I love this oline dickerson and juergens are struggling and no injuries to blame this year. They just have to be better if not then expect some other backups to get playing time.

They really are struggling. The interior OL is a problem. Can’t be surprised if a replacement or two are used at some point this season even sans injuries.

The RB’s need to be more involved in the passing game.

Thought it was interesting with the game on the line late in the 4th quarter the Commanders were using Kaytron Allen in key short yardage situations after hardly playing most of the game. He had 4 carries for 16 yards.

So Stefon Diggs gets a personal foul unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after his touchdown so that the Commanders can’t go for two, totally on brand. So sick of the me first f the team attitude of some players out there. “I take full responsibility,” f you Stefon Diggs.

I was in academe, a department chair and one time one of my faculty had to book a student for cheating. My dean, in front of quite a few people: “I’m supposed to be kept in the loop when these things happen. Why wasn’t I told?” Me: “I take full responsibility.” The dean: “I couldn’t care less if you take responsibility. I need for you to do your job the right way.” Me: “Yes mam.” I wasn’t aware that the dean needed to be told. She was kind enough to point out exactly where it says the dean needed to be informed. It wasn’t a case of me trying to cover things up but not my finest moment.

Another example of nature wasting incredible athletic ability on a pea brain.

Glad to see Kaytron Allen get 4 carries for 16 yards in his NFL debut. A big day, an exciting day for the young man, something he’d been aiming for for years. Attaboy.

I was at the game and the vibe was kind of everyone understood this will be a work in progress, lets just hope they get the W. I wasn't discouraged at all. As long as they continue to improve on O, I don't see any reason why they won't be a contender. Grabbing tight division wins like these are so important, so all good as far I'm concerned.

There were a lot of guys who made great plays yesterday, but Zach Baun was the man. I know watching at home they may point out mistakes that you don't realize or notice from the stands, but from I sat he looked incredible. And that punter...

Nick Singleton was a healthy scratch for Tennessee. He’s apparently RB #4.
