We’re only 13 weeks away from football season! Crazy to think we only play one home game until October 2nd!
I’m not gonna say a record prediction but I will say this should be one of the best teams Brown has had in over a decade+! Last year we finished the regular season with a record of 7-3 and made it to the second round which was a huge improvement. This year, I think the goal should be get a first round bye.
I really think with all that we have coming back the expectation should be as high as it’s been in a while for the program.

Closer to the season, I’ll post a more in depth of the conference. But just an overview the Wonders should be favorites.

They took some early losses but finished the season on a 6 game winning streak. I could be a little off on this number but like 70% of the jv starters were freshman’s. It was a super young team

l like to see Statesville play AL Brown. But never understood why they were taken off schedule. That be good replacement for Porter Ridge.

The Northwest Cabarrus games needs to be a non conference game yearly. I’ve heard some rumors why it doesn’t happen, but does anyone really know?

That’s great!!! Now they did get SOME payback a few years ago! What blew my mind when NW won the first game a few years ago was ALB kids taking pictures with them…the old school ALB fans did not like that!

Could be totally wrong.. but I don’t believe you’re gonna see that anymore. You could see a huge mentality change in the team last year in my opinion.

Expect NW Cabarrus and AL Brown to be solid this upcoming season. What Coach Morman has done at NW is remarkable. If he can keep his players he can build something special in Cabarrus County. AL Brown has their native son back and he had a good season last year, and 2026 will be interesting. Not sure if Kannapolis will ever have the 90s talent they once had but they looked good in 2025. Cabarrus County is underrated as a football county.

Coach M has done an outstanding job but he has an assistant coach who ran a couple starters off because he called them out on social media. I saw the actual post. I have heard others are leaving as well because nothing was done. Today’s athlete is not like yesterday, they don’t put up with that stuff.

Not saying Mooresville want win but I don’t think game will be a give me game. I could see hard fought game in that one.

Brown ain't gonna be close to Mooresville next year. 7-3, or 8-2 is very achievable with a couple playoff wins. Olympic will be a tough game too. If Hardin keeps this trajectory they will be fine. Folks sometimes forget that AL Brown was really good under Newsome. Just ran into really good Catholic teams and a strong Dudley team.

It shouldn’t have been. Brown left at least 20 points on the field. Can’t do that against good teams and expect to win. Missed 2 field goals and 2 times in the red zone and turned it over on downs.

Hickory Ridge maybe the one team that could beat AL Brown. If they can get by HR then I believe ALB can go undefeated in regular season.

That’s probably an accurate statement but I would say their defense hasn’t seen an offense like ours…. If everything plays out like expected.
Hickory Ridge will be 6-1 and A.L. Brown will be 7-0…. Boy will that be one of the best atmospheres at Memorial in a while!
