Totally right call, young man under pressure, rookie, 3-3 and the game winner
Nice rebound after a shaky 1st game. Not even 21 and he already has access to free beer for life in IA City.
A bit of that should be shared with the guy who retrieved that errant snap and got it down in time for it to be kicked. Now if I could only remember who that was.
I think the other kicker has a better leg watching warmups. I don't think Buhr can hit the long ones.
Either way, not the point. Huge week for him and he beat Iowa St. on his first try.
Im sure there are analytics out there, but I think that game winner would have been good from 60
Buhr hit a 57 yarder in HS..which is the longest FG between the two. He has a very strong leg. The Ozick kid is better on KO's for sure.
Sounds like when Duncan was the FG kicker and Recinos(?) was the KO kicker?
To my untrained eye his makes were hitting the net quite high so plenty of distance left so def good from 50+...
yes, I think Tanner Philpot should win the award for the Unsung Hero of the Game (if there is such an award)
