Hey everyone. We are traveling to Lincoln for the Indiana game on October 10th and we’re looking for someone to host us at their tailgate.

In full transparency, we are 6 Indiana alums who travel to a new CFB experience every year. This year we chose Nebraska as we’ve heard the environment is amazing and the fans are the nicest in the country.

We are happy to provide anything that is needed, alcohol, food, money, etc. We want to experience a true Nebraska football gameday and would love to tailgate with some true fans.

If you’re open to hosting, please let me know. Appreciate all the help.

Walk under the i180 Viaduct just west of the stadium (5 min walk to the game). It's a blast and it's tailgate central. As long as you bring offer some cash, and are kind and courteous, you won't have a probably finding tailgates that will welcome you for a beer or two. I'd pop in for 20-30 mins and then head to another. People don't want 6 guys drinking all there beer for hours, and there's a lot to see, so just keep moving and take it all in.

Also, if needed, park over in the baseball stadium and walk over the pedestrian bridge takes you right to where you'll want to be, and they'll be plenty of tailgates over there as well, but the more rowdy ones are under the bridge closer to the stadium. Unless you have a hotel downtown, then everything is in walking distance.

Here's an image beautifully illustrated map to help. The dotted line is a pedestrian bridge.

Hit up the Haymarket as well. Lots of restaurants, bars, etc.
