Fans are going to struggle with the fact the OL now looks average. This after forcing out Stout.

We may learn that Stout wasn’t the problem last year, injuries and decline were. But most fans will groan about the coaching change being the main reason.
The Thrill of Victory and the Agony of reading about it the next day!

Some woman sitting behind me screamed "retire" after Dickerson got beat a few times :ROFLMAO:

You don’t bench someone who’s played so well for you in the past. You send him to IR
I am worried about him and Juergens both. Juergens had several holding calls and doesn't look like he has totally recovered. Thankfully the Eagles have some good backups. They will be a better oline with healthy backups playing than a injured Dickerson. Might be time to sit Juergens as well.

Who are these good backups and can they play? And how do you know

Have you looked at their roster to see them? Did you watch any preseason games including scrimmages again the patriots? Have you seen the GM and other players that will be playing with them and their feedback on them? Have you seen Jason Kelce talk about them and all the time he spent in camp with them working with them and watching them?

Yup all of the above but until we see them in an NFL game we don’t know I /we can hope but LD is one of the best.

Don't be surprised if Juergens moves to OG and Lampkin starts at center. Kelce did a lot of work with Lampkin in the off season and training camp since Lampkin is a little undersized like Kelce was at center. Kelce said he has really gotten very good with technique and learned how to use his quickness and size to his advantage with Kelce helping him.

that would shock me. Making two changes and most likely weaken two positions as OG, imo is not Juergen's best position and center is new to Lampkin.

I agree with you that in all likeliness that Kendall will start at OG. But I am not at practice everyday and don't see who has been playing well. Juergens has practiced at guard so it wouldn't be a huge stretch, I do think Kendall starts. Kendall has played very well when given chances. I am looking forward to see how he does. Saquon might find some more holes to run in since Dickerson was so limited in what he could do.

Heading down to Nashville with the boys this weekend. Not liking the forecast, highs near 100 each day. Only plans so far is dinner at Jeff Ruby's on Saturday. Any recs for bars/pubs will be much appreciated. Definitely would like to catch the PSU game Saturday.

One of my best friends is traveling down (with his wife) to take in the Titans game. (He's also a season ticket holder to the Birds.) It would not surprise me if the Birds' fans turn the stadium green. ;)

As for the PSU game, the Middle Tennessee chapter of the PSAA has TV viewing parties for PSU games at:

Live Oak
1522 Demonbreun Street
Nashville, TN
LiveOakNashville.com

In the chapter's write-up about the TV parties, they discuss what to do regarding parking, and also how to get a discount on your bill. Instead of my keying in all the info, I recommend that you check their web site at:

Just walk down Broadway and go into a bar, you’ll find some of the best musicians you’ve ever heard. Day or night
Plus try the Nashville hot chicken for lunch. Well worth any wait
