Looks like we are in about the 70th or so percentile. Meanwhile Minnesota looks to be in the 20th percentile. Our ROI must improve if we are being sold on the idea that more money means more wins.

Something doesn't add up here.... Not buying these numbers. If we are actually wasting this much money on the roster we currently have, then Rhule needs to go.

Oregon got beat by a team with the budget of a local church pot luck so how do the analists explain that?
Played bingo at the Club last night with a friend and neighbor who is a Linfield College grad and big Duck supporter. Before he moved here and to his winter home in Arizona he had season tickets for the Duck games. He is pretty perplexed by the performance of team so far.

They pay big bucks for a roster, but they still have to have the desire to win. Seems a few of them are just happy to show up with nice gear on and then go to the party afterward.

We’re always picking on Buffett because he’s super rich, but there are other billionaire families in this state. What about
Hirschfield
Carson
Davis
Cabela
Werner
Lauritzen
Scott

Who am I missing?

Even using that, it's 50% more than two teams Nebraska isn't competing with.

I'd say the ROI is a bit lacking!🤣

Met a guy at a party about 10 years ago. I gave him a bunch of shite for his Mecheatin shirt. Turned out it was Chip Davis. He lives in Omaha but obvo not giving any cash to DONU

A billion dollar NIL donation from Buffett could change all of Nebraska athletics. He wouldn't even miss it.
What would change? We had the #1 qb in the nation and he was wasted to the point of having his body broken. I am sure you are familiar with the idea of throwing money at a problem. Lets spend more money on schools, or the inner city, or drug abuse and it will fix the problem. Not if the decision makers are incompetent. We need a complete change of the entire football ecosystem from the top down to the bottom...then when the system is efficient and competent, then load up on money.

No validity to this. Nobody reaching out to 68 teams through “sources” nationally has any accuracy. 99% of the posters on here know someone and we are clueless. You think some guy trying to get hits in his site has insight from 68 teams? it’s a trash article
