I think it’s probably a lot different for Hansen here. This isn’t Ames and the pressure is tenfold here. We don’t settle for just winning, we want to see the team clicking in all facets. I hope the kid can turn it around, but these kids are paid like professionals. If he’s not cutting it, they need to find another RB1 from that room. I think many of us like about Martin is that he look like he had speed, vision, and elusiveness in that bowl game. For as often as we hear it was against the Clemson backups on defense, Martin was also running behind backups on our OL. And those Clemson backups are better than the temple and Marshall starters that Hansen is playing against in the first two games.

Journey Brown overlapped with Cain and could have been great if he didn’t have his heart issue. Those couple of years at RB we were just unlucky.

It's rare that a young man steps on the field and just dominates. There are few Curt Warner's or Dorsetts in the world but does seem to be more of those types today than ever before.
IMO and that's all I have to go on here, if you don't have a true #1, in the spring, you pick your guy with the most potential and you start grooming him. Then in the early non competitive games your start giving him the carries getting him the feel and experience come league play so he's ready and not having to wait for mid to late season.
In our current situation I really don't like the rotating of backs when we neither seem to have the talent or the experience. We don't seem to have a bunch of Mike Archies, Steven Pitts or Ambrose Fletchers hanging around the bench. To say nothing of Milne or Witman.
Again, and just my opinion for our particular situation a split backs formation may be an answer. Puts you best blocking back who is also your toughest runner and your best instinct and yards per carry back in the game at the same time. Beck for blocking and short yardage and Q Martin/Peoples for the splash plays. Also, all three of those guys can catch the football out of the backfield. You wouldn't have to live and die with that formation, but it might make for you your best base formation.
These are just my thoughts. Then the other thing might be is the coach hiding his true offense.
I am starting to think Lando is a narcissist. Anyone that labels themself a "King" is a good indicator. He argues just to argue and thinks he is never wrong. Then says something along the lines of "anyone that calls for a new RB after 2 games with his prior track record doesn't deserve an opinion" without understanding what people are actually saying or speaking about. Maybe he has reading comprehension issues, i do not know. Maybe anyone that labels themself a "King" does not deserve an opinion and should immediately discredited. I think that's fair.
Oxfam?Not so amazing. TN fits right in with states at the bottom of this list. Our state (NC) legislators like to brag about how attractive we are to business. NC has been at the bottom of this list for the last seven years. Guessing it has something to do with a state’s history of slavery.
