Union Vs West Bladen
Union picked up another win last week whooping Lejeune 24-7 and West Bladen is still hungry for their first win. West has been stepped all over so far this year and I expect that to continue this week. Union runs the ball all over the winless knights.

Hobbton @ East Columbus
Okay Hobbtons defense is just non existent. Offense gets the job done week to week but defense throws it all out the window. Hobbton has been competing all year but still can't get rid of the goose egg on the win column..... Probably the best winless team around. I still expect them to fight like heck for the conference and will not go down without a fight to any teams in that conference. The FB on Hobbton is a stud already has 700+ yards and isn't slowing down anytime soon anddddd he is only a sophomore. Hobbton will move into the win column this week though lets be real its East Columbus..... much improved but its East Columbus guys. They have beat Green Sea Floyds (Who the heck is that really?) and trask which is a team that has fallen off the face of the Earth.

Lakewood @ North Duplin
What the heck is going on at Lakewood? Losing to Fairmont?! The Leopards have struggled so far this year and have not been able to put together a complete game. Looking at the Lakewood players they have the size, speed and depth to be very good in 2A but the product that is being put on the field is stale and expired. Still time left in the year for Lakewood to work out the kinks but time is ticking. Lakewood vs ND is usually a very entertaining ball game and I expect the same this year. No school does the most with less..... North Duplin is coached very well and are very good at what they do. I think this game will be a battle between the ones wearing headsets and I expect ND to pull it out and send the leopards to 1-4.

Clinton VS Whiteville
The darkhorses have found their groove and are starting to peak which is good for them. Passing game is coming along which on benefits the run game. Defense is strong, fast and disciplined. This week I believe will really tell us are those horses back in the stable? I don't know how to feel about this whiteville team.... they are still young and I am sorry but I am not impressed with their non conference. West and East Columbus? Cake. West Brunswick? Cake. East Bladen? Solid 2A team. I think the offense is there.... that RB is a stud but the defense is where I have questions. When playing decent oppnents like West Brunswick and East Bladne they gave up 36 pts each game...... I do believe CLinton has a much better offense than both schools and Clinton will be the best defense Whiteville has seen this year. I am going Clinton screw it.

Midway @ Princeton
Midway defense not looking too shabby huh? Held SJ to 2 scores last week and also scored on a fumble return. Midway offensive passing has struggled as of late but I expect that to change.... running wise they haven't been slowed down yet. Well this week is another beast for Midway who enters one of the toughest stretches in program history. Ground and pound for a month..... Princeton-North Duplin-James Kenan- Wallace what a freaking month ahead. Princeton so far has showed they can compete for this conference with how the offense is moving! The defense is still suspect but you gotta stop #7 before you can play any offense yourself. He is already north of 1k rushing entering week 5 and is currently on pace to finish 3rd all time in NC rushing yards for a career. I don't know how the kid stays on the field and healthy with the workload he has. Midway will be able to score but can the defense continue with the recent success? Princeton is going to score but can and will you limit them? Yes. Yes you will.
