Jefferson Rojas certainly looking like the goods and should compete for an IF spot next year at some point. Homers in his third straight game.

funny that I am now a troll- I have been as big of a Met's fan that there has been on this board. Sorry that some of you are ok with what Stearns has done to this team.

I have many times straight out given positives for many of the players on this team.

Nobody called you a troll, at least I didn't. Re-read the thread. My comment clearly referred to a well known troll of this and other threads.

Di Como reporting that Young's CAT scan came back negative, that he has full use of his extremities, and that he has "avoided the scariest outcomes". We are all thankful for that.

You don't expect to hear wording like that in a baseball thread.
Looking closer at that play, it looked like McLean may have made contact with Young's head with his foot or knee. Glad that is may not be serious.

Incorrect on both counts.

@Zak57 was right. Shouldn't have let myself be baited into responding to a troll.

Anyway, I am done with this topic. Ten games left to finish strong. Then on to an off-season and inevitable lockout, which will inevitably end. Hope springs eternal. As the saying goes, the Good Lord puts our eyes in front, and not in back, for a reason. ;)

You had thrown me off as you first responded to me and did not refer to Tk2 in your troll mention. That is why I thought it was about me- I had to go back and see who you first quoted in a different post to get it. No worries...

Please, everyone, let's move on. This thread has been clean Mets stuff mostly. Don't let a couple of duchers ruin it. Nice win last night. Another confession, I don't track stats like I did when I was a kid. I thought Soto was over 300 HRs already.

Depending on how much of a season there is in 2027 he should hit that mark next year at 28.

There's also this.

SOTO HOMER

270+ home runs and 100+ SB before turning 28:

Juan Soto
Alex Rodriguez
Ken Griffey Jr.
Mike Trout
