Assuming he doesn't drop weight, who among him, B. Harer, and Connor Harer will be without a starting job? Will Magro hit the portal? Nini? It's nice to have some good competition at weights.

Zero chance sontz comes to Rutgers, if he decommitted from Lehigh, he’d go to an Ivy.

He’s been around forever and a product of PA youth system before going all in with DeLuca/Dragons/RFH. Top game is insane and defensively solid. Has to get better on his feet in order to AA but no reason why he can’t assuming he stays focused and out of trouble.

Any insight why Rutgers was not among his final choices and why he decided to make his way to Rutgers? I'll go with Ashnault had a pretty big influence. Anything else?

He’s the 18th ranked recruit of his class… def one of the best prospects out of NJ. Feels like top recruits w questionable history end up being boom or bust. Would be surprised if Amato ends up w in between career.

Crackers is probably referring to the fact Sontz couldn’t get into Delbarton originally so his dad held him back and sent him to the Delbarton prep for a 2nd 8th grade year bc those students are automatically accepted.

Too be fair that was 4 years ago , Sontz could’ve been a straight A student the last 4 yrs for all we know, I’ve never heard a negative thing said about the kid

No , i've always heard he's a good kid. Thats one of the reasons why I was hoping that he would come to Rutgers. Kind of need that squeaky clean culture. Plus he would have Ash as a mentor and Knox for a training partner. Kind of reminiscent of that Ash/Suriano scenario
