This should be a very good game. Whiteville‘s quarterback continues to improve. He had at least two touchdown passes against East Columbus in the end zone dropped. Receivers. Are starting to latch on though especially number 11 this is a young team very young number nine is a junior number seven is a sophomore number 11 is a sophomore. The quarterback number 10 is a sophomore Clintons win against a rather one dimensional east Blade was impressive. Look to see JP combined the pass in the run to keep Clinton off balance not sure about Clinton‘s passing game typically they only throw a few but most are for long yardage. Is that the case this year?

Clinton QB was 13/20 for 193yards 1 int against WRH, I think they only had 16 run plays. Against EB, Clinton first play of the game was a passing TD. He was 7/9 passing 155 yards, 2 TD’s 1 int. As a team they had 33 runs for 289 yards 6 TD’s. Clinton will be as close to 50/50 run 2 pass as possible. Clinton isn’t running the Old T-formation no more.
Clinton has definitely improved on offense, mainly the qb throwing what I refer to as sideline passing. Can be effective if you're facing a team not tackling that well. I give the coach credit for recognizing that most of the good teams nowadays can pass. It bodes well for the future. They may be hard to deal with in Nov. Whiteville will probably overpower them Friday night though. Clinton’s coming though.
Will be a tough game no doubt. Ironically the one “sideline” pass he threw Friday was intercepted. Everything else was beyond line of scrimmage or 15+ yards downfield.
I think this Whiteville team is legit and can make a good run this year. The rat poison( The Great Nick Saban) is going to be the biggest challenge this team will face. Hopefully the kids will take it one game at a time and not listen to the outside praise.
Gooid advise; Clinton particulatky in the 1st half couldnt get out of their own way. The number of penaltirs they committed was plain ridiculous. That being said, Whiteville has a very good team, theyre big and physical. The best Wbiteville team i e seen in a. Um er of years. From what i understand thdyre a goung team. Let’em play!
I mentioned before Clinton struggles with teams that can hit em multiple ways (run and pass) and I Whiteville’s WRs would have the size/athleticism advantage over our DBs which showed. The killer I point to tonight is 1st and goal from the 2 turned into 4th and goal from what the 40. Yeah can’t make those type of mistakes against a good team.

Yea that was a rough sequence there. All three plays at that point went bad. I enjoyed making the trip there. Good environment to watch a game and that pork chop sandwich was pretty good. A lot of legends there for your ring of honor induction at half time.
Enjoyed my first trip to Dark Horse stadium, liked being able to pay back the Clinton team for what they did to us last year at Legion stadium, consider us even for now. Just too many mistakes by them in the first half, they did come back in the 2nd half and score early making it more interesting. But ultimately the Packs balanced attack proved to be too much for them to overcome. The Martinez interception was sweet near the end to seal it. Really like JP passing to Rose out of the backfield, that puts a linebacker in a tough position to defend and Rose has soft hands and seems to catch every throw with ease. McLean continues to put almost all of his long throws right on target giving our talented young receiving corps a chance to go up and make the catch on 50/50 balls. D stopped the Clinton team when necessary. Bye next week hopefully we can get some players healed up and march on the the conference schedule. Go Pack!
