Well I for one really wanted Ross, and yes I think he will be a factor right out of the gate. I'll give it another year before he is a lock finalist caliber. That gives Oky state at least 4 NC contenders if not more by next year. The gap is narrowing and Ross was a huge get. Cael wanted him pretty badly, enough said.

Have any of you guys seen "JBthehawkeye"'s stuff on X/Twitter? Among many PSU wrestling haters, that guys takes the prize. He is absolutely 100% obsessed and miserable, and seems to spend every waking moment angry about PSU wrestling's success. He makes the guys on HR seem incredibly mild in comparison.

Yeah, I just checked out his X account and after reading a few posts these wise words came to mind -> Stay away from foolish people; they have nothing to teach you.

I’ll post this Facebook photo here since it’s courteousy of Royce Alger. There’s a Dan Gable bio movie in the works and Alger has a role in the cast. He’s a real character too. Sat with him for a little bit at the US Open last spring.

Notice the PSU representation in the photo? Someone looks a lot bigger here than he did last March.

People on the edge of photos often look much wider than reality. Look at his head.

Would be kinda funny, and perhaps the final indignity for Iowa, if only PSU wrestlers were cast for all the wrestling roles in the film about an Iowa legend.

Is Kueter-Mocco not a thing? My thinking was that they would be competitive, but haven’t heard a peep about Mocco getting consideration. He seems big enough.

Of course, it took another Iowa State legend to show Penn State how to be great.

Campbell is a Mt Union alum, but i would happy as all get out if he had success at the PSU football job similar to Cael's PSU wrestling success or Gable's Iowa success.
