And then he makes a good decision & throw like right there. Frustrating. It's just, given enough time, another critical INT uploads.
I mean - now we know we decided to go with a QB who is struggling to grip the football…
Clearly it was never an “even” QB battle. No way. If the OL showed up in game one we wouldn’t be in this situation. But Greg still really sucks as a play caller. He seems to have gotten even worse this year.

cost us all 3 games. Schiano is right “the ball is the program” except he doesnt practice what he preaches with these QBs. He found them so now he can live and die by them.
I would say we played well enough to think now we can beat Howard, but if you keep throwing back breaking INTs thats how those little teams make upsets when they do, so we’ll see

That is coaching. Do we have a QB coach amongst our 200 staff or is that KC? The whole program is Busch league.
Pick 6 was the game had to chase the points from there on which cost another 7 when they failed on 4th down

After three games Rutgers defense has to be one of the worse in college football.The defense had multiple chances for a interception to stop USC drives.The play of the game was the USC 99 yard interception/ touchdown.
The D was ok and looked better than last week. They were given short fields multiple times and there's the pick 6 obviously. That's a very strong SC offense.
The turnovers by the QBs and not converting on fourth downs are killing this team.

It should be clear to the coaches that Longeran can't throw those quick slant passes without getting picked off. Trash those plays.
He is a two time reject. So what does Schiano do? Pays him to throw picks here.
Probably correct. But what has changed since last years worst defense in college football? That to me is the biggest failure of Schiano, a defensive coach!

Don’t worry Schiano is grabbing the QB from Glassboro State College once he hits the portal.
If we havent trashed the tush push on 4th and 1 yet then sorry no trashing anything. At least we didnt get the slow mesh this week

How about the dropped INT by the RU guy. Right in front of me in sec. 108. Easiest pick you could ask for..but no. USC got the FG afterwards. That's 17 points plus whatever RU could have gotten IF we didn't pull that 4th down BS. (USC guy to my left says to me. "I don't get it? All the blocking on the right and the guy runs left?" )

Humes (#4) also misplayed the second USC touchdown pass, taking a bad angle and allowing the receiver to score. He looked lost out there on several plays.

RU is #118 (out of 138) in rushing offense and last in the B1G. Minnesota is ranked 117 while Purdue is ranked 112. RU's opponents defensively have been:
#10 UMass (surprising, but they did play 2 FCS in 3 games). RU had 25 yards on 27 Attempts, Sacred Heart had 143 yards on 42 attempts, Stonehill had 27 yards on 28 attempts, so RU was much closer to Stonehill than Sacred Heart.
#98 Boston College (2 P4, 1 FCS). Cincinnati had 246 yards on 46 attempts, RU had 154 yards on 41 attempts, Maine had 69 yards on 34 attempts
#54 USC (3 G6, 1 P4). San Jose State had 102 yards on 24 attempts, Fresno State had 39 yards on 29 attempts, Louisiana had 146 yards on 30 attempts, RU had 168 yards on 32 attempts.
A positive spin would be that RU has gotten better running the ball than the previous game. The downside is that the running game was similar to Stonehill against UMass and Louisiana against USC and closer to Cincinnati than Maine against Boston College.
We are ranked #117 in Total Defense (114 Rushing Defense and 110 Passing defense). Only Purdue (#126) is ranked worse in the B1G. RU's opponents offensively have been:
