Jan. 28 - First Top 33 Coaches Ranking released.

Feb. 11 - 2nd Top 33 Coaches Ranking released and first RPI released (15 match minimum)

Feb. 21 - Final matches to be included into the final RPI for allocation selection

Feb. 25 - 3rd Top 33 Coaches Ranking released and second RPI released; allocation breakout.

Mar. 10, 8 p.m. - Selection Show on NCAA.com

March 18-20 - Nationals in St. Louis

(note: I’m a season tix holder at PSU and attend most matches … and the 960 mile round trip is always worth it). VT usually has one match in their little half round theater (Moss Arts Center) and that is a unique venue definitely worth checking out. The other matches are held in their basketball area where it’s open seating. Get there early and you get a good seat. That’s gonna be a really good team for the next few years. Oh … and Blacksburg has a few nice bars & restaurants within easy walking distance of the wrestling venues. Easy going town as long as you don’t criticize Sir James with ill tempered language.

It’s pretty cool but you gotta remember I walk my dogs thru w and l’s collonade and the epitome of prison architecture (vmi)

Definitely not a good look if you announce it first. Ohio st, Oklahoma st, Iowa and VA tech won't be sending guys. Iowa has Iowa st 2 days before and VA tech is at Stanford around that time and Ohio St has NC St on the 20th and Bellarmine on the 22nd. When I first heard it was Thanksgiving week I liked it but now that I see the teams who won't be sending guys maybe early November is better

I read that DT is beside himself hoping for a chance to match his guys against ours. No?

Not sure what Oklahoma st has scheduled around that time but I know they had guys asked who said no. I wish all the best would compete but the coaches are in charge and March is what pays the bills

Bloomsburg wrestling just announced they will face Penn State at Rec Hall on November 12th. I’d love to see Cael & Co add a few more dual meets with in-state teams to the schedule. With 5 for 5, he could use the early season to give the depth on his team a chance or two to compete against outside competition while still resting starters when needed and avoid much travel expense even if some of those meets are away from home. https://onwardstate.com/2026/09/19/penn-state-wrestling-to-host-bloomsburg-on-november-12/

Years ago fans were mad that Stutzman sat his best Buffalo guys against Penn st . Bloomsburg doesn't really have anyone good to sit. They've a hwt who made the tournament last year who returns

At PSU, assuming good health starters start.
They aren't loaded with an overwhelming number competitive dates.

November 12th is a Thursday. Thinking this was a typo, I checked it on Bloomsburg Wrestling’s website. Thursday the 12th at 7:00pm is correct.
