What will our ranking be after we beat Indiana?

Unfortunately I think the voters may question the Hoosiers and the Big Ten more than reward us. We would probably be ranked in the teens but then be propelled to the top 6 when we beat Penn State.

The homer in me thinks we can beat Indiana. The realist thinks we are not yet ready but if we keep it close, we will get some votes and then enter the ranking if we beat Penn State. Chip has found ways to exploit the defenses of Colorado and SDSU, but will have a tougher time against the national champion. I think Penn State’s defense does have areas we can exploit.

I’m genuinely annoyed we didn’t receive a few votes this week from the AP.

That said, if we beat Indiana we’ll jump to at least the top 15. I don’t see us getting into the Bama - OSU - Miami group. But Utah-Tenn-PSU-USC at 15-12 is very surpassable.

It would also be cool to end their 19 game winning streak. Very cool.
