I personally thought West Wilkes would win. It didn’t surprise me.

It should be an interesting night in Boonville on Friday.

I definitely can’t say that i did. I was definitely drinkin the Dub-C kool-aid. But could it be a wake up call for WC… like the loss was for Starmount at WW last year?

I would have to agree with your question. Alleghany may have a lofty RPI thus far, but the Trojans have played a weaker schedule thus far compared to Mt. Airy, only exception being and beating North Surry, which has beaten West Wilkes. I don’t consider Winston-Salem Prep and Independence VA very competitive in football. My Airy on the other hand has been tested by Starmount, Jefferson VA, and Watauga.

I hope the game of thus far unbeaten Rams and Trojans on Friday is a good one. According to Deana’s pregame show, Alleghany has only won against Starmount once in the history of the series.

Starmount needs to take care of business. A loss could put them in a position to be on the road in the playoffs. Don't need a repeat of that disaster again.

The Rams can do it, just no bone-headed penalties or mistakes! They held the Buckin Elks to just 3 first downs for the entire game Friday night, one was a gift due to penalty.

Hoping NFHS is working so I can watch this one. It was a good one to watch last year.

I remember watching last year and thinking Starmount should’ve won by a little more - but it was still a good watch.

We are good we are just not beat starmount good in my opinion. We do have upperclassmen but we also graduates alot as well. Who knows any given Friday. The fact we didn't blow out WSP this year is the main reason for my doubt in this game.

Looking back at last year this game was a close one. But Alleghany will be up against a very different Starmount team this year. Last year that was the old OC calling that game for Starmount and they struggled. Not taking anything away from Alleghany they are always one of the most physical teams. But, with the offense that Starmount has now give me the rams by 21pts.
