That Kid is going to be a 1st Team AA before He leaves Iowa if He stays healthy, Elite closing speed and flies to the ball, Him and Buffington are going to be huge problems for Teams going forward, Rewatched the UNI game and the NIU game and He moves and closes like an NFL LB , Just needs reps I will not be surprised if He is getting starter minutes by the end of the Year .

1. Manson will be great.

2. He will get nothing close to starter minutes at any point this season

Only way he gets starter minutes this year is if we have multiple injuries at the lb position

Slow on reads right now and that's understandable. Looks huge and aggressive, but compared to the other backers, his feet are slow. I can't imagine what he's going to be like next season and beyond.... but it will be special!! Our LB coach spits out players just as much as our DB coach, and we have our next 2 great ones in the room. Buffington already looks like a faster Jack C.!!

Faster reads comes from experience , Once He is moving towards the ball that is elite closing . He is going to be really really good, Shows the same it factor Buffington showed early on, By starters minutes that does not mean He is starting but like I said I would not be surprised if He gets more minutes. Kennedy too .
