I think we see Sealey 157 if Kasak gets hurt. 165 Duke 174 Mesenbrink. Now that could change if they rule Levi gets another year. I think that will be determined in the next few weeks. The 10th court of appeals in Colorado should be ruling soon
Look at the top 10, that should be your answer. He beat the #3 guy like 3 times 2 seasons ago. Christian Carroll is #4. Mo Endene is #10 and BK wrestled him in practice every day.
Kosko has been using intermat rankings for awhile now. The big 10 uses them and he calls Rutgers duals
It's down this year compared to the monster guys who have been there, but this is the year we targeted BK to be a serious contender. He's a 2x AA, world medalist and has battled through injuries.
InterMat is the best when it comes to rankings week in and week out. For our On3 audience, we breakdown the top 10 in each weight every week new ones are published. Have been doing so for years since I've been aboard the company. And yes, Big Ten+ has utilized InterMat for the last few years, so this is a good way to make sure the sport showcased on a national outlet. I think Earl is the best.
I was actually doing shows with Willie when he acquired Intermat. The Big 10 started using Intermat rankings not long after that. Earl does a good job he's been around forever. D1CW site from way back was awesome and it had all the results before anyone else did
He's definitely not pursuing it in court but if it was ruled he got one he would take it is my understanding. They should know before the season starts I would think. Wisne vs NCAA both sides gave oral arguments a few weeks ago. Imagine they rule in October unless they sit on it
He would definitely wrestle if he could and you need to add anywhere from 5 to 7.5 to that #

Always liked Flo rankings but not saying it is better than intermat. The one I find suspect is the algorithm of the wrestle stat but love to be able to put our team against others in their comparison tab.
So between $100,005 to $100,007.5? That's a pretty narrow range...
The ranking of rankers could be a bit skewed since coaches poll actually sets the seeds for Nattys giving them some advantage in end result.Last year at least, it was Flo.

If you spend any time on the various wrestling forums (and I know you do - how else would you find this?) then you have probably spent some time complaining ...
There is no doubt there is circularity to all of this. The coaches likely lean heavily on Flo, Intermat, and Wrestlestat, but then inject personal biases. The biases tend to mostly (but not completely) wash out as there are five groups of four coaches ranking two weights per group.
