I would like to see that match up Goldsboro vs North Iredell. I don't what the story is Goldsboro, but how can they be that bad? Maybe, their is just no support in that Community.

Yeah I would also like to know with Goldsboro also. and uh... Highland Tech or Bessemer City might have a word on worst in the state lol
McMichael and Morehead have really been down last 4 years. Seen South Stokes last week they pretty bad also.

Two big games in the MVAC this Week. Starmount Vs Alleghany & West Wilkes Vs East Wilkes.
Many people are on Starmount in this game and rightfully so they are going to be really hard to beat
West Wilkes knocked off Wilkes Central again last week. It appears the non conference schedule did not do any favors for Wilkes Central.
East Wilkes ran through North Wilkes with ease and it could have been worse than 38-0
What is everyone's thoughts?

Starmount 28 - Alleghany 7
This senior group from Starmount have been in multiple big games with Mount Airy (4), Mitchell, and Murphy the past 3 seasons. This is another big game with a lot of things on the line.
There are 22-1 at home since 2023 with that only loss being a 17-14 game against a 13-1 Mount Airy team.
With the Rams’ ability to pass and run, it will give teams trouble and then you add QB Best that is a threat to run and scramble.
East Wilkes 35 - West Wilkes 14
Just think East Wilkes has found their rhythm after two tough losses to good opponents Hibriten & Mount Airy.
Wilkes Central over North Wilkes.. I can’t remeber what score I predicted on the podcast I was on.

Ashe over Elkin is very interesting because whoever looses that game will go winless the rest of the season IMO
I agree. I don't see either team getting a win in conference besides this game. However, what's happened at Ashe? Not that they were ever state contenders but they would at least hold their own in the conference. Seems like lately they have only gotten worse. Coaching? Players? Admin?
Low numbers for one thing. Not enough to have a JV team. Things have seen to have gone stale on the coach from parents was the understanding I was given. Just not a good situation overall in West Jefferson right now
Even the winner will go winless the rest of the season. This is likely each teams last opportunity to win a football game.
I get a small school like Elkin will have talent and numbers deficiencies, but Ashe has no business being as bad as they are.
Agreed but many factors have contributed. Such as in my post above also I think since Helene 2 years ago some kids never came back to playing football also I was told.
I went to one game after the hurricane at ashe and it felt like I was at a funeral from the opening prayer onward....guy was practically crying while praying....I get putting the Lord first...but man that was a terrible way to pump up your team. Nobody yelled good or bad....horrible atmosphere except for the scenery
