UNC Field Hockey's Ryleigh Heck, Dani Mendez, Sietske Bruning Regain Eligibility

To the members of the Carolina field hockey media list,



Following recent rulings, Sietske Brüning, Ryleigh Heck and Dani Mendez have been ruled eligible and will play in tonight’s contest against Stanford. The situation is continually evolving so the UNC administration and our program wanted to be certain we’d done all of our due diligence before announcing this publicly from us. We will continue to follow this unprecedented situation as things unfold, but as of this moment the three have granted eligibility and will put on the Tar Heel uniform once again.
