I have no idea what happened or if a return trip was ever part of the deal. I imagine National Duals hurts us a decent amount. I doubt most schools want us on their schedule twice, especially if both those matches are in Oklahoma.
Anyone hear what you guys have the weekend before Thanksgiving? I know guys were asked to wrestle in the All star classic and said no. Ohio st has NC St and Bellarmine and Iowa has Iowa st and VA tech is at Stanford. So Ohio st , Iowa , Va tech and Oklahoma st won't be sending guys is what I'm hearing with duals days before the classic at Penn st
Might be a good thing we’re not doing All-Star since it seemed to have cursed Swiderski and Ryder for a bit lol
Yep I remember now its on Friday Nov 20 the night before the football game at ASU.

Visiting teams are bringing 20 I heard . So probably 2 per weight with 8 man brackets
This is not a reply to previous post…… But it seems to be the most active post, so therefore that’s why I am posting here.
I will admit that I did not know that much history about Coach David Taylor…… But I just now watched a documentary on YouTube about his history.
I did not realize how small he was as a freshman at Penn State.
… As the documentary went on, it showed his growth and maturity and how the body can completely change over a 3-4-5 year progression!
FYI,… It just got me to thinking about what’s gonna happen with these lower weights and how their bodies change and how they may become bigger… Because watching David Taylor grow from a freshman to his somewhat upper weight was very impressive!
Just my observations… Anybody else have comments about that… Just curious!

Bit of a disappointing home schedule but Nebraska and Mizzou should be fun. Too bad we couldn’t get VT to Stillwater.
Almost a month between home duals from Jan 17 to Feb 12. Mizzou and Nebraska are the only 2 home duals that (at a team level) get me jazzed up.
I’m a little excited for WVU bc maybe now we’ll finally get to see Robideau vs Watters.
Wyo has some fun matchups too: neitenbach vs Berge/Healthy Ryder, Panda vs Novak, Ross vs Carroll.
Yeah, reaper is right...there will be some duals with storylines. However, there is no real banger of a show on tap. Then season ticket holders get slighted on the 11-1 event as well.
I am tempted to go to the Cougar Classic on Sunday 12/6 but that is one week before the National Duals so we will probably not send many starters. Last year we did not send Spratley, Robideau, Lockett, Merrill or Doucet and of course Jax did not go as it was 1st semester. We ended up 2nd to Northern Iowa and Ramirez, Facundo and Ryder placed first. The teams last year were Brown, Illinois, UALR, Missouri, Northern Colorado, Norther Iowa, OK State and host team SIUE.
