They keep talking about how big the d tackles are… but if anyone is watching them closely - these are not NFL caliber tackles at all. They are extremely slow and easily leveraged out of the way. If being 330 was the only requirement for a great d tackle…

Offense is gonna have to do something on this drive. Defense has been on the field too much.

Not pleased with the end of the half at all--either side of the ball
He needs to go back to playing 2 backs as well--should be Hansen and Peoples but i don't care who at this point

Uuuh, Coach? You are NOT playing “really good football” right now. The offense has been utterly anemic. The D has totally bailed you out.

edit: the D and the Wisc QB have bailed you out

Is MC watching another game in his phone because that statement does NOT reflect PSU offense in the first half!

This team is really not that good, cannot rush the passer or run the ball and with out Howard pass it either.

You're all exaggerating with the concern here. The defense played very well. The offense is struggling as the lack anyone with the ability to stretch the field. We knew this coming in. Rocco's accuracy needs to improve but they also need to stop the little league mentality of everyone gets an opportunity. Play your best.

First half thoughts:
  • Carson Hansen experiment needs to end. Peoples RB1, 25 and 26 as backups. Hansen 3rd down back.
  • OC not calling plays like he trusts his QB
  • Donkoh and interior OL struggling.
  • Secondary was strength of the team going into the season, proving worth early
