His confidence I'm sure got a major boost and maybe it will influence some of the calls on offense going forward.
Hand up I was **** talking Kirk and Hank the entire game. Holy **** what a win
Gotta give props to Hank. When his number was called, he delivered. And RVZ has been waiting for his moment, and he's had big ones before, but this is career defining.
Thanks Tim for passing the ball!
Pass the ball!! Suck a dick eyes!

He was the MAN I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!
They need to let him throw downfield against Ohio State
wtf is your problem? Chocked on your pencil dik? Nice try to rain on the parade
Slow down! No heart attacks allowed during a magical win!
That was exactly what I was saying this game was reminding me ofRicky Stanzi at Michigan State, only much better
I didnt have a problem with hank all game. Thought he was fine with what we were giving him.
I was pissed at lesters play calling

It’s one of the best Iowa wins in the past ten to fifteen years.we return the least snaps in the bigten on the road against a team full of four and five stars. Refs giving them all the calls. KF still beat their ***.
Just finished watching the game. Nobody told the score. What a fvcking game.I used to feel that way also... after many years everyone I know now understands that I'm totally cool if they schedule something during a Hawk football game and they know in advance why I'm unable to attend.
That’s why KF is going

Anyone notice Whit went full tortoise most of the second half. He and Kirk are mirror images. Underwood was torching us, Whit went mostly run second half.
Called it...... @eyesofhawk
My 11mo old might have shaken baby the way we were hopping aroundI was pale after after the final play !
He lost you for good 17 years ago and yet you still watch and post and root for them? Weird.
I'd love to see Kirk, Fitz, and Whit in a cage match...winner takes all!!
I was on the fence with Hank Brown
Not anymore!
Icing on the cake is you know all the shows are going to replay this over and over after Michigan's cheating. Free exposure!
How'd you like the last throw of the game?
Enjoy the Head Hawk's reaction to the TD
I didn't see any prevent D, just a great offensive play to a well covered player who was all over VZ, actually had his arm for a split second, before the perfect back shoulder throw/catch. Likely the second greatest non FG, game ending play, in my 65 years of watching the Hawks. # 1 Marv Cook, # 2 McNutt was just eclipsed...
And if this doesn't prove that throwing down field works and wins games, I don't know what does.
I havent rewatched the play prior to the injury timeout yet. Was Iowa indeed trying to run a fake spike? Who knows what might have happened but if so, you have to feel like karma definitely played its hand in that timeout.
It looked to me like they were. That final 91 yard drive had plays that it seems have gone against the Hawks in the past. Injury, deflected pass for a completion, personal foul etc. Last pass and catch still has this 78 year old checking his heart!
Quote of the day:
“One thing about these guys is that they don’t quit,” Hawkeyes head coach Kirk Ferentz said in a postgame interview. “It wasn’t perfect, but they don’t give up.”
Do the whiners/quitters on this board ever self reflect and think 'maybe I shouldn't post that I gave up on the team'?
