Your referenced article showed majority in TX consider it the south but your comment said others. TX is definitely in the south but nothing west of TX is “south” even if geography tells us otherwise.Most people who live in Texas do not consider it in "the South," but you go on.
You had no rebuttal to my point about an immigrant family leaving the area and have happily been in Dallas for several years. You know what? People have a different variety of reasons that are important to them. Many people move out of the area, and when grandchildren are born, they may move back to the area to be close to their grandchildren. Others have different reasons. But in your haste to dismiss the purported traffic issues in Dallas, I have asked my friend and he said the traffic there is not terrible.
But we agree that places that are crowded have traffic problems.
Will say this much - people outside of NY/NJ/Northeast are far less consumed with divisive politics in other areas of the country. Arizona is a good example.

Old enough to appreciate beautiful southern women while also realizing that having another man's nickname as your handle, and reciting his musical accomplishments, on a college football message board of all places, is one of the creepiest things I've seen in quite awhile
Comparing UNC or Wake Forest to Tennessee or Clemson is ill informed, we don't even need to put RU in the conversation.
Most places have beautiful women. But NJ and RU have more. And to not be a homer about it, CA has more than that.
If you are going to deny the South has a 10x more serious obesity problem than the Northeast and West Coast, and that also exists at their colleges, I don't know what to tell you except remove your head from the sand.
This thread and board are laden with evidence to the contrary.
Most of the affinity for the South on this board is the thought they have lots of members of the same cult. And these days, even that is changing. Will be fun to visit this thread in November, hopefully it is isn't nuked.

We are not in disagreement. People move for all sorts of reasons. The person I know that moved back was because of education for his son. He probably jump the gun and should have waited until after HS. I personally don’t enjoy the humidity of the south but it’s a great time to visit the other 2.5 seasons. The south bird thing is not new. Not sure why people act like it is.

Not to me. To me, personality matters, and she is Squidward-like to me. Nobody can convince me otherwise.
I may be different than others- physical 9's or 10's go to 4's or 5's in an instant if the personality is not there. On the other hand a solid 6 or 7 goes to a 9 or 10 if the personality is a plus.
As proven by data, the south has a horrible obesity problem. In black and brown communities. It’s not just the south though. It’s an epidemic throughout the country in those communities.
