It was an interesting listen for them discussing Michigan's dline, it really wasn't the size issue as much as it was the moves they were capable of making.
love those guys.. but they're too high on Ohio State.
you can't ignore the fact that they have already lost a game.. they are 3-1

they said the Ohio State - Michigan game is going to be 50/50

Iowa plays Ohio State... at Iowa
I think we're gonna see a competitive game... nobody can predict the score.. it's foolish to even try.
if Iowa wins, they are all but a guaranteed Playoff team... and they might win.
also... Ohio State is not the #1 team in the nation... Indiana is.. people have lost their mind.
if Ohio State is going to win.. they're gonna have to earn it.
if Brian Ferentz can beat Ohio State..
surely Tim Lester can as well.

Yeah, they do a great job.
But not much Iowa love from them in this one.
Iowa will fight. That's for sure.
Underdogs? Absolutely.
But make a couple breaks with defense, special teams, and a raucous Kinnick. Catch a couple breaks. And you have a game
Yes, many of our fans cant believe we have trouble running against some teams. Well some teams like ISU and Mich are loading up against the run, Mich DTackles are using swim moves on running plays in the interior to mess up our blocking, etc A 4 man front when Mich has been mostly playing a 3-3-5.
Some fans expect dominance but the other teams are strong.
I just wish we would counter the other teams more when the load the box. You can do it with wide running plays, you can do it by faking a handoff on a wide running play and then let your running back go out for a pass to pressure the defense, a few jet sweeps or a reverse, and by throwing on 1st down successfully to back off the defense
Illinois ran for 200 yards and made hay in passing game, not sure if the bulk of that was after game out of hand but still....they mentioned OSU back 7 are prone to errors. We shall see...we simply cannot play the rush four, hold the edges and pray for best...we HAVE to heat up the OSU QB, he's no Underwood and doesn't move all that well...need 7-10 1st quarter points minimum.
This is my standard plea for at least the last 8 years. I prefer the pro style offense but it would seem that it could be easily tweaked to keep defenses more off balance. Lester is moving in that direction just have to remind myself to stay patient.
