As a longtime Padres fan, pretty sweet short sweep of the Cubbies for the Padres to advance to play Milwaukee. I like the Padres team camaraderie, it is such a huge factor for success in sports. NU has great team dynamics under Braun’s leadership as many players stepped up last week in the Indiana game to fill slots for those injured. Winning helps a lot but know the positives when the team has strong character and pulls together to win. Hopefully the NRF will become a true home field environment like Petco Park was tonite for the Padres. Fans can make a difference!
