This game was the definition of a team loss. Every position sucked.

Can't get lined up correctly on 3rd down, when it's still 10-6 with the end of the half coming. Ohio State is very talented team (obviously), but Iowa did **** against them that gets Iowa beat by a lot of teams.

Just a reminder, the #1 team in the nation right now also trailed to OSU 17-0, and 20-3 at half. The offense has to be able to possess the ball and score more points in big games.

Need to get healthy first! Tyler Brown, Lutmer and others have not been 100% so far this season. Same with the RB room... Hank (although I am fine with Heck getting scripted plays & time with the one's).

And I am certain we do not know of others that are dinged up.

Love the optimism, but we have way more weaknesses than I realized.

O Line/D Line/ QB seriously bad. How is our run blocking not better with 2 NFL players on the unit ?!

Serious question: Is it YOUR opinion those players should be considered “underclassmen” or does the NCAA officially claim RS-Sophomores as such?

Regardless - Coming up with excuses for 3rd-year players (Especially in week 5 of their 3rd season) and / or referring to 3rd-year players as “young” is not appropriate. As a 3rd-year player, it is time for you to be ready or get the f**k back on the bench / transfer.

Bottom line: We are very, VERY far from being a young team. Once again, we have 3 “underclassman” starters. Yes, 3.

There is no excuse for our 4th and 5th-year offensive linemen starters to be as underwhelming as they’ve been.

According to the refs when they almost never call that. Good time for it though when we throw for a first down and are moving the ball.
