Rochesters Kordell Gregory with an outstanding td catch.
SHG running the ball well so far but fumbled inside the 10 yard line.

It’s 7-7* at half7-0 Half. SHG is more physical and Brinkman is very impressive as usual. SHG gets the ball first in the 2nd half. Will be interesting
Yeah I know it wouldn't let me update it. Not big on this forumIt’s 7-7* at half
At this point, it feels like Brinkman is one of the COVID 3rd year seniors in college ball... got us asking "how much longer we gotta deal with this man?" Dude's a legacyBrinkman is shifty with the ball. 200+ on the ground and only saw him really get squared up once.
SHG line is big and physical.
i imagine if these teams see each other again it’ll be another 1 score game.
If you're talking about what happened on the field, it was nothing. Some pushing and jawing but they still went through the handshake line.Rumor on the way back from Chatham was a fight broke out at SHG/Rochester post-game? Anyone have details or can dispell the rumor hopefully? Unless of course it was all good but a few Rocket players somehow got suspended for next week!?Ha jokes, we'd need more help than that. Rockets can certainly air out frustrations in the Q next week...
Last play got a little chippy...not sure what it was over. Rockets announcer and referees had to try clear the field of SHG students who stormed the field. Sangamon County deputies and Rochester police had to "shoo" off some SHG students who were harrassing and throwing water bottles at some younger Rocket JFL kids in front of the restrooms. Can't see how anyone would have been suspended.Rumor on the way back from Chatham was a fight broke out at SHG/Rochester post-game? Anyone have details or can dispell the rumor hopefully? No thats good. I dont want to see suspensions. We just got word of a scuffle and didn't know details. We had joked in the car about it somehow being starters so we had a chance next week. Im glad it was a nothing burger. Sounds like another incredible installment to the best game the CS8 has to offer annually. Would have hated to see it spoiled.Last play got a little chippy...not sure what it was over. Rockets announcer and referees had to try clear the field of SHG students who stormed the field. Yes...it was a great game and the right team came out on top.No thats good. I dont want to see suspensions. We just got word of a scuffle and didn't know details. All.... I actually had two Rochester girls give me the finger as I was driving out. Ironic though that what was described as assault and aggravated battery of players doing "stuff" to their own for God knows how long tells me typical Rochester kids with no real penallty at a much higher level and out of control. It was just SHG kids acting like typical SHG kids. Nothing we haven't seen before.
Watched a lot of the game. Was surprised at Rochester’s lack of a run defense. SHG was the more physical team and deserved the win. I thought SHG’s early failures to convert in the red zone would lead to a loss, but they persevered. Impressive win on the road for the Cyclones.Rochester is a tough place to play. I'm sure the SHG students storming the Rockets home turf didn't do anything to help lower the temperature
Is Rochester still the #1 team in 4A?Morris? Montini?
All…. How dare you….. -ratmanIt was just SHG kids acting like typical SHG kids. Nothing we haven't seen before.
As usual, the Michigan “Rochester Rockets” fan got it wrong. The officials were slow on the last whistle and football players were still going at it. Cigaros thinks he speaks for the Rocket fan base, but he doesn’t. He should go back to his Facebook page where he can control content. It was just SHG kids acting like typical SHG kids. This was my view on it too. Rochester was trying to lateral down the field, player went down, ball came out, whistle came late and due to that some extra hits/blocks were thrown. Coaches on both teams were on it to pull their teams back, probably looked a little more chaotic due to the SHG students rushing the field. As usual, the Michigan “Rochester Rockets” fan got it wrong. Still not completely convinced Morris beats Rochester, but it is nice to see they struggled with a running QB.Morris.
Possible, but will take a decent amount of movement for them to end up in 5A. Right now they're the 3rd largest team in 4A.Hope SHG ends up in 5A South - Kankakee / SHG / PC - would be real good & fun
If the Broncos thought the Sandburg QB did a number on them, Persich is a whole different beast.*montini
Morris hasn’t played the “beast”yet though….If the Broncos thought the Sandburg QB did a number on them, Persich is a whole different beast.

Yeah I think I’m taking Abrams. Please come back to this when Morris loses by double digits like they always doPersich is the game changer
Abrams is a phenomenal talent. Still was beaten by Ruisz.Yeah I think I’m taking Abrams. Please come back to this when Morris loses by double digits like they always do
