PSU with a 26-yard FG, to make it 24-23, USC, with 14:52 left in the 4th qtr

Disappointing to not get a TD on what was an excellent drive, until PSU got to the USC 12

Player2BNamedL8r · Saturday at 9:10 PM

Gonna need more than FGs

Calabrin · Saturday at 9:12 PM

Desperately need a turnover here.

Marshall2323 · Saturday at 9:12 PM

Give the team credit for competing. Not like last week.

Ludd · Saturday at 9:12 PM

Gonna be down 8 soon.

Moogy · Saturday at 9:12 PM

Brahmer’s issue is he’s not 25 feet tall. He needs to work on that.

We don’t get those.

For sure. If they had played like this last week, it would have been competitive.

I don't like a two LBer defense.

Marshall2323 · Saturday at 9:14 PM

Example of blitzing leaving a window to dump a pass.

Nothing Special · Saturday at 9:14 PM

Down 1, 4th quarter, Rojas not on the field.

Phils rug · Saturday at 9:14 PM

Come on D

Especially when 50% of them are #8.

No pressure on the USC QB

BobPSU92 · Saturday at 9:15 PM

Our ”defense” just doesn’t get off the field until the other team scores. They’re awful.

Nothing Special · Saturday at 9:15 PM

This is like throwing against air

Marshall2323 · Saturday at 9:16 PM

Good coverage. Great catch

WestSideLion · Saturday at 9:16 PM

That last FG really damaged PSU’s chances in this game. Campbell’s expression said it all.

I don't understand what lynn is doing. We're in the same base defense all night. Bring pressure. Do something to try and make a play.

Air provides greater resistance

Yup. Can't win shootouts with field goals.

Moogy · Saturday at 9:17 PM

I bet our safety could have defended that pass if he had pants on, and not daisy dukes.

TheWizardofCamelot · Saturday at 9:17 PM

This is the worst LB group I’ve seen at PSU. Can’t remember a group that couldn’t pursue a ball carrier nor drop back and cover. This is brutally bad.

PSUfreak2008 · Saturday at 9:17 PM

I think we all know how this is gonna end. The moral victory crowed is gonna love this one though

They need to go back to ISU's 3-5-5 and its culture... lol..

Or tackle. Can't do that either.

Can 2 be considered a group?

We could cry about it, or we could just accept that we’re not very good, and the most we can hope for in the short term is somewhat competitive games. Either way, what’s going to happen is going to happen.

cntblvitsbutter · Saturday at 9:19 PM

Guess it doesn't matter if you're old if you can't play.

No moral victories. It’s easy to see how outmanned we are on D, and Becht is a mediocre QB at best. We need better Jimmy’s & Joe’s.

3-5-5? They would still get run over.

psu0408 · Saturday at 9:20 PM

Maiava can run that RPO every play, no pressure and LBs will bite and leave the middle open.

Efejle · Saturday at 9:20 PM

Cue the "i love the fight" crowd

Poz have any eligibility left?

JoePaMajorCFBrecord409Ws · Saturday at 9:20 PM

Right on que, our sieve defense shows up coupled with our inept redzone offense..... Trading FGs for USC TDs..... game over.

D might play better if they had 13 guys on the field.

BobPSU92 · Saturday at 9:21 PM

Our “defense” can’t stop a cold.

cntblvitsbutter · Saturday at 9:21 PM

I've never been less surprised than by that TD pass.

Tom McAndrew · Saturday at 9:21 PM

TD, USC, on a 10-yard pass.

With the PAT, it's 31-23, USC, with 11:11 left in the game
