Please let Coach Lynn that Michigan will run the ball a lit next week. It would nice to see the defense with some kind of idea next week.

Another 400 yards rushing.

TheWizardofCamelot · Saturday at 9:54 PM

Bizarre to dislike your own team. In the age of the portal, I barely know any of these guys. And then they fumble away the game. These ISU guys are in over their head.

We knew this was a total rebuild with or without Franklin’s firing, and Campbell did the best he could to assemble a roster, but he has to realize that Rapp, Collins and Koby Howard are probably the only guys that would start for #19 USC.

I agree with almost all of this but there's very little difference between us and USC. With Howard we probably win.

SkiSkiSki · Saturday at 9:55 PM

Could not be a more fitting ending.

PSUAVLNC · Saturday at 9:55 PM

Goodnight Irene

op2 · Saturday at 9:55 PM

Defensive delay of game penalty? What? I've never seen that before. What happened?

KingLando · Saturday at 9:55 PM

Hahaha great way to end it

KingLando · Saturday at 9:56 PM

Honestly...it wasn't a bad game. It was competitive. Something to build on.

Tom McAndrew · Saturday at 9:56 PM

The refs had a role in this loss

DukeCorey21 · Saturday at 9:56 PM

Team is worse than last season

Calabrin · Saturday at 9:56 PM

5-7 will be considered a successful season at this point.

Stop it. They suck

Come on man.

MtNittany · Saturday at 9:57 PM

Out-played obviously. But more worrisome, very much out-coached.

PSUfreak2008 · Saturday at 9:57 PM

Lincoln Riley is one of the biggest road losers in cfb history…… and we suck so bad even he could beat us. ****

Player2BNamedL8r · Saturday at 9:57 PM

Hard to expect more. If they play like this next week, they could beat an equally bad meatchicken team, but there is just hardly any talent on this team.

Why?

I think our players and coaches are responsible for the loss.

Don't agree with that based on the potential.

PAgeologist · Saturday at 9:58 PM

Can someone explain that last penalty?

We lost by 8 to a ranked team without our beat player...you're not being realistic here at all.

They are better at almost every position. Their qb is light years ahead of Rocco

DukeCorey21 · Saturday at 9:59 PM

Penn State is a joke of college football, keep having White Outs it a great way to show that you are pure ***

KingLando · Saturday at 9:59 PM

PAgeologist said:

We likely were mimicking their play call causing them to move

Who f***ing knows. The D ought to be able to move all they want

And they only won by 8?
Rocco had very similar numbers...is that more impressive with no talent around him going against better players? Lol

Correction. They really suck. They positively suck. 4-8 coming only because they get a pity win

And Kentucky just beat LSU….thats why you fire a coach and hire a new one, not to be worse.

Nothing Special · Saturday at 10:01 PM

936 yards allowed in the last 2 games. 1144 yards allowed in the last 9 quarters.

creamery freak · Saturday at 10:01 PM

This USC team probably loses 3 more games this year. N Western > USC.

Becht has played very well tonight...not sure why that's tough to admit. The defense has been the issue.

No QB is perfect

Agreed. Becht played a good overall game with zero run game and minus his best receiver and a sub par offensive line. And a terrible defense.

IrishHerb · Saturday at 10:02 PM

PAgeologist said:

I don't get it either. The defense line can shift, and if they cause the offense to move so be it. Why was there a penalty???

DukeCorey21 · Saturday at 10:02 PM

This is the worst Penn State team I ever seen

rigi19041 · Saturday at 10:03 PM

If Campbell was hired a month sooner this team.still could not block.or tackle.

Bardo · Saturday at 10:03 PM

These people are now pros. They are fully accountable for their performance. They should be ripped. They deserve it!!!

Last year's squad had more potential. You misunderstood.

Yes, this squad sucks, but last years squad was supposed to be in the playoffs.

There is no potential for this squad. They are a mess.
