Doubt he gets a fine. Maybe a sternly written letter. He looks like he might be headed to a winless big ten season. He couldn’t knock off Illinois at home, without their good QB.

If he really did make an obscene gesture at the referees during the game then he should be suspended by the BIG.

I don't know the context here but if it was on the heels of a bad call by the refs I'm personally fine with it, not that my opinion matters.

Regardless, I see Fitz is recalibrating his "classy" to match the MSU brand

The same thought crossed my mind after seeing this happen. MSU did get screwed on the on-sides kick call by the refs. After the final decision was made, Fitz grabbed a towel and was waving it to the crowd to get them riled up. With his other hand he flipped off the referees. Not his finest moment.

Don’t see David Braun ever doing that. He has a lot of Fitz in him, but just the good qualities.

I don't remember Fitz ever going off like that. He was really pisst and trying to get his team and crowd going as the game was in the balance. The bird he flipped was really brief, like less than half a sec, but captured well by the camera.

Oh come on! He let his emotions get the best (or worse) of him. He was right as the refs made a really bad game changing call.

That said, I hope we beat the hell out of them.
