Quick feet will get you a lot of success in any sport. You can't get your body in the right position without quick feet. It's literally where athleticism begins.
If Daughtry would hurry up and commit already!could use a little bit more diversity

One of the many different things about this year's Iowa MBB team is that there will be 4-5 shooters on the floor at once, vs. maybe only 2 at times last year (Stirtz + one other).
Here's what assistant coach Luke Barnwell told me today:
“There's days where you feel like we'll guard really well in practice, and you look at the sheet, and we shot 50% from 3.”

Keep this one in your pocket from Iowa MBB media day, via assistant coach Bryston Williams:
“One that we even haven't talked about is Joey Matteoni. Very, very high IQ kid. Understands ball-screen coverage. Understands offensively how to keep the flow of the offense. The reason I bring that up is because when you don't have that star (aka Bennett Stirtz) to just give it to and put the ball in their hands, how can we help the other four keep the flow and keep advantages? That's where Joey is elite. Like really elite. He's always open. He always gets guys out of trouble. He can keep it moving. He's very smart and understanding when to screen, when not to screen, putting pressure on the rim. He just knows his role, and he's elite at that. He's one that's going to get a lot of opportunity.”

To say Joey will be playing (as stated in thread title) is not an accurate characterization of what either coach Mac or coach Williams has said.
Let me clarify. As great a teammate and kid as Joey is, he will not be in the rotation in conference play
