This is a bad time to have a game like this. Hopefully we can use this game to motivate us moving forward. That was ugly! You could see we were in trouble early on. We do not put up many goals in the 1st quarter but normally kick it in but this one will hurt!
Prophetic in the accuracy of this prognosticationLiberty will be a much tougher opponent Sunday. Will certainly test our defense. We will have to do well possessing the ball to minimize their offensive opportunities. They have some good midfielders so it could be an ugly game. I hope we have a better 1Q start so we do not give Liberty a sliver of hope.
Liberty has a laughable 16!!!! Internationals on roster. They could almost field an entire team from Argentina alone, with 9 on roster. One being a freshman who has some great individual skill in Clarisa Iudicello. She has had some highlight worthy goals this season, one today vs Georgetown. Fun player to watch for sure.
Hopefully we put it to em’ early and often. Goooo Heels!
Part of it is no more redshirts, we should see more freshmen playing going forward, although I am not sure we had a choice this year starting out: all hands on deck.Just wanted to add: I thought the coaching staff’s steady rotation and selection of subs and playing time for a majority of the roster was pretty masterful against St. Joe’s. Hadn’t seen anything quite like that before and it made me proud. They are committed to developing the roster and it has been fun to see new talents emerge. Particularly Barbacci and Miller (holy crap, the wheels on her - and her technical play has improved as well).
Was it raining today at Liberty. How many road games did we play in a row. If it was five and it was raining then this is a good reason why we did not come out like we should have. Not making any excuses but the weather does have an affect. We will just have to bounce back.No excuse. Shocking outcome. Even with our B game, we shouldn't be losing to that team. What are we doing here?
Unknown. The message certainly alludes to some significant struggles related to sport, but I have no idea what that was.Injury related?
One of the comments noted an ACLUnknown. The message certainly alludes to some significant struggles related to sport, but I have no idea what that was.
If we are able to pour it on BC, we will. Because RPI mostly determines NCAA selection and RPI takes into account margin of victory.IMO, there are a number of reasons to not only defeat BC tonight, but to make a statement in doing so.
Please add to the list.
Spit out the feathers from the consumed humble pie in front of the years of former players and teammates, and fans in the friendly confines of KSS and Coach Shelton herself, ( will baby Hutchinson be there ? ) and a welcome back, if you will, to Melea Weber and Ava Meehan.
This is BS. We are in our own stadium and we cannot get any calls to go our way.I usually like this crew too, but Erin is really letting them have it today
