Question:Can you share, Matt, the support you’ve got from Dr. Kraft? And do you guys meet regularly — have a scheduled meeting? Something is amiss. Several x posts on this. Here is one:

I thought the answer was fine.

Matt recognized a baited question by the ultimate loser known as Mike Poorman and neutered it.

What’s even weirder is that Mike Poorman regularly posts on this board.

Let’s play a game. Guess Mike Poorman’s board moniker and his area of residence near State College. They are connected.

Campbell could have simply said that they talk all the time and that Kraft has been very supportive. It’s interesting that he didn’t say that. Then again, Campbell may have read between the lines as to the point of the question and decided to bring the discussion back to football.

Even a nitwit can see how much Campbell "said", in what he didn't say. And it certainly wasn't by accident.

I am sure it didn't take Campbell long to know what an incompetent he is working for.

And "Brozo" Kraft? That was a classic moniker.

PK had two short stints as AD prior to PSU.
Temple - where he destroyed their programs
Boston College - where he destroyed their programs
And now PSU - where "we" are paying him ungodly piles of money as he destroys PSU's programs.

That, dear friends, is the contemporary "Penn State Culture" at work.

Absolutely he could have said that and perhaps added that Kraft wants to see the football program succeed. Instead we get a word salad noncommittal answer. And this follows Pate talking about the PSU financial support of Campbell and the program. I know many of us dislike pate but he is a one of the loudest voices in college football and a close friend of Campbell. That would not have been put out there without the blessing of Campbell. I think our situation is worse than we know. Kraft must go. He is toxic and Campbell knows it.

I guess that would depend on what "someone knows".

I think - clearly - the level of internal dysfunction (and the utter incompetence of Chieftan PK) is orders of magnitude worse that most casual fans would ever know - or than even most of the more engaged fans will allow themselves to see (the "adamant ignorant" demographic)

So be it

Shortly after he got here (within the first year?), I mentioned that if forced to choose between one or the other, I would take Sandy six-ways-to-Sunday - without a second's hesitation.
(I certainly wouldn't want to HAVE TO choose either)
Given my very open distaste for Sandy, I think some folks didn't believe me. Believe me,
Not only was I "telling the truth", but it would not have even been a close call, Since then - it has only gotten worse, more obvious, and more pervasive.

Despite Penn State's obvious culture of freely paying huge money to incompetent administrators, I would/will not be surprised if Kraft becomes PSU's highest paid fired employee (knocking BGJ out of the top spot) sometime in the near future.
That is how bad it is.

Maybe the money just isn’t available, never was, and never will be. Maybe it’s the reason for success with honor. Maybe it’s the reason fans were told to lower expectations.

The problem actually goes even beyond Kraft though Kraft IMO has made a mess of things. He's too much of a Cowboy and way too visible.

What if Pate was responsible for introducing Party A to Party B? Now that Campbell is face planting, he is protecting his friend by absolving him of any responsibility for the dumpster fire. The lack of roster funding is not new. The NIL vs scope and timing of the stadium project is the genesis of many problems, including the inability to sign many blue chips to the 2026 class before the 7/1/25 clearing house deadline. Franklin took the rap for that as the expert BWICAC wrote it off to insist he didn't wish to pay prospects more than veterans.
I want Kraft gone yesterday. It is about the only positive step PSU can take at this point. But if Campbell didn't investigate where NIL money stood at PSU vs the top programs in the country, It's on him.
The only question would be did Kraft lie about the figure and then renege as he did with Franklin on 7/1/25 ?
