. I think iggy really flexes on provi this week, and Stf plus 7.5 against a porous Montini secondary is a lock

Some really solid matchups this week. Interested to see if any teams choose to take their foot off the gas with the new playoff system? Is it safe to say that Loyola and ICCP are the only CCL teams that are locked in for a first round bye going into this weekend's games?

Has there been any recent standings updates?

Mt. Carmel -2.5 Loyola's pass rush will be the X factor

Marist +31.5 too many points for a rivalry

Nazareth -5.5 I think this one will be a slog. Naz barely covers

Montini -7.5 Give me the over as well!

St. Ignatius +1.5 statement win for Iggy that will be overlooked due to the circumstances in New Lenox

Carmel +21.5 Carmel will be the best 3 win team in the state

St. Pats -13.5 This one will be similar to the first half of the schedule for the Rocks. Clock 'em and keep the foot on gas all 4Qs.

Marmion +29.5 Way too big of a spread for a decent Marmion D on a night that should feature inclement weather

St. Viator -22.5 They needed this. Robbie ends his tenure with a dub. Will there be a fourth HS for the former Bear?

Leo -7.5 Great momentum for Leo as they roll into the playoffs!!

DePaul Prep +7.5 the half point might do me in. This should be a low scoring affair.

Joliet Catholic +15.5 I would put the JCA offense at least two tiers below ICs. With that being said, I really like their defense. If this game was in Joliet it would be my feeto pick, but it's not. IC wins but does not cover.

As usual, a very fun year and a very fast year… I can’t believe it’s Week 9 already. Wild year in the CCL Green. And after tonight, our foes become our friends, as I’ll be rooting for all the CCL schools to kick butt in the playoffs. Keep ‘em cryin!!!!
