He will have IND who's one of the 6 guys mentioned as contenders by Kozak . If he can win that he should make the semis against Iran/TUR winner . I think he's wrestling for a medal if he can win round 1.

Thx! I find it odd that during a world championship, none of the organizers could be bothered to tally real time team scores. Seems like part of the job of running a tournament.

We have some interesting first round matchups. Davino gets Iran first. He is U20 silver losing in the finals to Ono. Tough kid but I think it goes like Seidel vs Iran at U20’s. Tight through the first but Davino widens the gap in the 2nd

James also has a kid who was U20 silver. He did just lose by tech at U23 Asians to Seilbekov who James beat soundly at U20’s though.

Sinclair has a super tough first match. Kid was just bronze at senior euros and has won silver and bronze at U23’s the past 2 years. Last year he beat Rahmani, U20 champ Begenjov, and U20 champ Magamadov in a row before losing to Balian in the finals. I think Sinclair wins but it’s a super tough 1st match

Don't be too interested. He's up a weight. Ask Blaze how that goes. U23s isn't as weak as we tend to think it is.

Sealey has been killing it in freestyle, but (to my eye) he looks about average size for a 157 and could possibly make 70kg. He's giving up a ton of horsepower at 79kg. Minto is the favorite; remember, he makes Haines look small.

Agree if he can beat IND his first match he can make the semis . Looks like he won euro u23 gold in 25 and 26. But his results aren't overwhelming

James and Shumate are both 1 match out on C and D respectively.

A Georgian hit Wagin of Germany with an early 4 pter

Shumate is on now but James may be a while as the other 3 mats all have challenges. Shumate had a TD and 2 guts to lead 6-0

I think he'll be fine. Being a little bit stronger. He would be able to finish that exchange more cleanly
